So imagine, if you have three friends join, that’s like getting your own month for free!
How Does it Work?
When you join MAPS we automatically create an affiliate, or referral, link for you to share with friends, family, co-workers, club mates, strangers you see on the street…anyone. Let’s call them your people.
1. You invite your people and they visit our site by clicking on the invitation link you provide. (You’ll find your affiliate link in your Dashboard under Member Links.)
2. The visitor’s IP address is logged and a cookie (bit of code, not chocolate chip) is placed in their browser for tracking purposes.
3. The visitor browses our site, and may decide to join.
4. If the visitor joins, the order will be registered as a referral by you and you will receive commission for this sale. The order does not need to be placed during the same browser session. Cookies and IPs are stored for 30 days. So you’ll still get credit for the sale, even if they come back and take action later in the 30 day period**.
How do you get paid?
Good question! It’s pretty straightforward. Once per month (around the 15th) we run a report of active members and who referred them. Then we pay you $10 per successful order from members that you referred. Payments are sent via PayPal. Of course if a member cancels before their recurring membership bills, you don’t get paid for them that month. And if YOU cancel before the 15th, YOU also don’t get paid.
What happens if a friend joins via your referral link, but then cancels. And then rejoins?
Well, they would have to rejoin by clicking on YOUR referral link again in order for you to get credited with the commission.

Log in and go to your Dashboard to see your affiliate link, account statistics, banners, and other stuff you can send to your people.
*The MAPS affiliate program pays ongoing commissions on recurring memberships for as long as your referrals’ memberships are active. Plan upgrades/downgrades will not impact your commission. Commission is paid only to the referrer based on the invitation/referral link at the time of initial sign up (see note below regarding links).
Details
The MAPS affiliate program pays out monthly on the 15th of each month (or the closest business day to the 15th if it falls on a weekend). Payments are made through PayPal. A PayPal account and a current W-9 are required to receive payouts. An active MAPS membership is required to retain active affiliate status. Any unpaid commissions will be forfeited upon cancelation of your membership.
**Please note, if an individual clears their browser cache, the tracking cookies and information may be deleted. And, if an individual clicks on another affiliate’s link after they’ve clicked on yours, the tracking info from the most recent link is retained and that affiliate earns the commission. Both of these scenarios are driven by visitor behavior that we do not control, and therefore, no adjustments will be made to affiliate commissions.
